Tonight was one of those nights when all the unhappy feelings accumulated and I had to let it out. Was thinking of the news of the death of Taiwanese Celeb, Xu Wei Lun, when I created this tune. So young, so pretty, so tragic. This song could have been heavily inspired by some existing tune that I’ve heard before subconsciously, I dunno. But if you do come across a ‘copy’ of this song, then let me know. It’s quite impossible to know every single song in the world, and expect something I write to be entirely original.

Anyway.. this song reflects me. Several people have told me I don’t seem melancholic in person. I seem bubbly, and even like a kid at times. Truth be told, that is not me. In the real world, nobody likes a melancholic guy. In order to be accepted and liked, you have to be confident, and ‘bubbly’ in a certain extent. I realize I’ve kinda succeeded on this cover so well, that only very few people know the real me and what I’m going through. To be honest, I don’t know what i should do. Is there a ‘correct’ way to behave/act? In one way or another, I feel that everyone IS putting up an act in the world, how you want others to perceive yourself to be. How many people are truly themselves?

This song is dedicated to the late Xu Wei Lun. R.I.P

Hope ya’ll like this grave little nocturne I put together. It kinda sounds a little like Beethovan’s Moonlight Sonata.
