This song was written for my 1st girlfriend, Stella. Although this was technically my 3rd composition, it marked the start of my music producing abilities because it was my first properly & deliberately structured song. The title came about because me and Stella used to call each other ‘wu gui’ (turtle) as a nickname, and thus Wu Gui Zi Lian represented the love we shared. Cheesey, yeah.
